As a keen observer of recreational vehicles, I am in a constant pursuit of a fifth wheel that strikes the fine balance between luxury and functionality. It is in this vein that I recently discovered the Durango Half Ton Series Fifth Wheel D240RKD 2024. A product of unfettered imagination and technical virtuosity, this fifth wheel left quite an impression on me. It's not just the fundamental offerings of this RV, but also the minute details that are attentively accounted for, that make it a remarkable find.
This 2024 Durango Half Ton Series is categorically a Fifth Wheel; however, it's anything but standard. Built on a steel powder coated frame, the Durango Half Ton boasts R-13 2" block foam bonded sidewalls with EGS metal backing strips to support all interior cabinets. If you wondered about the endurance level, the Lamilux Gelcoat Fiberglass adds an extra layer of robustness to the exterior. When our family wanted to purchase our first boat we tried to find information for research. However the only information available at that time was sales brochures. All of the product information originated from the manufactures. The only price we could find was the retail price listings or MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price). Magazines featured articles, and had really great photo layouts, it only offered product description and the (MSRP) retail price.
