The Berkshire XLT Series Class A Motorhomes 45B 2021, produced by Forest River RV, is a marvel to behold. This luxury motorhome is designed to offer the best in comfort and convenience, providing a high-end living experience for its occupants. As the 2021 version of the highly acclaimed Berkshire XLT Series, it's not simply a motorhome, but a statement of class and sophistication.
Right off, the 2021 Berkshire XLT is powered by a Cummins ISL 450HP engine with 120V engine heater. Paired with an Allison 3000MH 6-speed transmission, it doesn't just promise trips, yet smooth ones. To add an additional edge, it also comprises a 150-gallon dual fuel tank, guaranteeing long travels without refueling interruptions.
Equipped with a Freightliner XCR Raised Rail Chassis, 7-Pin tow power connector, Michelin front and rear tires, and Sachs custom-tuned shock absorbers, this vehicle has a durable and capable frame. It also has automatic, heated moisture ejectors, a noteworthy safety feature that ensures visibility in adverse weather conditions.
Exquisite Design
The Class A Motorhome from Forest River exhibits fiberglass front and rear caps, giving it an attractive and stylish look. It's painted entirely, culminating in an eye-catching and appealing exterior. Dark-tinted, frameless dual pane windows not only enhance its luxury feel but also serves to keep the inner temperature in check.

Another unique feature worth mentioning is the front bed lift in the cockpit, offering additional sleeping space.
Innovative Interior
The 2021 Berkshire XLT Motorhome is not just luxurious but also smart. The interior has a multi-plex system incorporating the Precision Plex app control, which permits easy operation of the various functions from a simple interface. The electrical system is extensive, including six 6-Volt deep cycle house batteries, a 2800kW Pure Sine inverter/converter, and energy management system.
Complete Living Space
This class A motorhome also boasts of an Aqua Hot hydronic heat system with continuous hot water and heated tiles, a 30" OTR convection microwave oven, and a 23 cf french door residential refrigerator with ice maker, providing all the amenities you'd expect in a comfortable home.
The living room includes a 49" LED TV (except in model 45A where it's 43"). There's also a 32" LED TV in the bedroom and cockpit overhead, with smaller TVs in each bunk where applicable.

When our family wanted to purchase our first boat we tried to find information for research. However the only information available at that time was sales brochures. All of the product information originated from the manufactures. The only price we could find was the retail price listings or MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price). Magazines featured articles, and had really great photo layouts, it only offered product description and the (MSRP) retail price.
We went to the dealership where the sales guy held all the cards. The best thing he had going for him was our lack of information. We tried to wrangle on price without any real success. We bought the boat, but we paid too much. After that experience we felt there had to be a better way.
